About Emma
I’m a Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with over 11 years’ experience supporting children and young people aged 18 months to 18 years.
I have a degree in Psychology and a postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy, and throughout my career I’ve worked with children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs across community, clinic and educational settings.
I’m a mum of two, living in Barnes, West London, and offer private Speech and Language Therapy sessions. Becoming a parent myself has given me an even greater understanding of the questions and worries that can come with wondering whether your child’s communication is developing as expected.
I have a particular passion for identifying difficulties early and helping families support their child’s communication and language development. I believe therapy should feel practical, positive and tailored to each child and family.
My aim is to help children build their communication skills and confidence, while giving parents the knowledge and strategies they need to support them in everyday life.

BOBO Books
Emma has created a series of children's books to help support children's speech and language development.
BOBO, Ready, Steady... GO! is the first book in the BOBO series.
Join Bobo the bear and his jungle friends in a fun, interactive story that encourages babies and toddlers to join in, make sounds and say their first words.
This playful book uses repetition, simple language, and exciting page turns to show children that words make things happen!
